In this Multiplication Activity Pack, students will get hands-on practice learning how to multiply by six. This activity bundle will encourage and explicitly teach students an effective decomposing strategy for multiplying a number by 6. This resource includes a 5-minute tutorial video that demonstrates this strategy and gives tips and tricks for using this activity pack with your students. Included in this activity bundle, you will receive two variations of flashcards that prompt students to apply their prior knowledge of the multiplication strategy. There are two levels of flashcards varying in complexity for effortless differentiation.
Your students will be motivated to practice their multiplication facts using this activity pack. It is a versatile and engaging resource that explicitly builds upon and connects multiplication by 6 to their prior knowledge of decomposing numbers.
