Our Writing Games feature:
This writing games bundle designed for grades 3-5 and writing intervention grades 4 – 8 includes includes three differentiated game boards working on identifying sentences versus fragments, combining sentences and expanding sentences. All three of these products include individualized teaching posters for preteaching the concept of to ensure student understanding before independent practice. Visual student bookmarks are included with each game to provide an additional scaffold during gameplay (and to serve as a helpful resource during writing instruction post-game).
Student-friendly directions will ensure all students can access the materials independently during centers or during small group work. For student accountability, differentiated recording sheets are also provided for each of the 3 writing games. Each board game also includes several variations and extensions to provide multiple practice opportunities for students of all ability levels. Additionally, this low-prep bundled resource includes blank templates to allow for full customization of the content students will read during gameplay.
