Rachael Wilson graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2014, and decided to continue her education at Alabama A&M University, where she graduated in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Special Education. She has been teaching since 2014 and loves working as a tutor. She feels lucky to have been able to work closely with so many students of all ages, but feels a special connection especially with those in grades 3-12.
As a tutor and educator, Rachael believes that hands-on learning, paired with interactive and meaningful activities, is the best way to engage a student in the learning process. In the years she has been teaching, she has learned a great deal about how to break down information for students to help make complex concepts more approachable. Her mission as a tutor is to help your student develop the skills, habits, and thirst for knowledge that will inspire them to become life-long learners.
